problem changing the plastic from a figure box (Q).

I'm nowadays changing the damaged clear plastic "window" of a 40-year-old figure box but I wasn't expecting it would be so hard to find something to glue it to the cardboard properly. What do you guys use for such thing? I even tried a drop of loctite but it did nothing to that clear plastic! What is the kind of glue that toy companies use for that?

You all have a good Thursday!

Aleene's Tacky Glue. They sell it at Michaels and craft shops.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Thanks, pal. I'll check that thing, if they sell anything similar in here. I was wondering, would the regular hot glue gun work for this?
