    That was priceless! I miss when TV specials were on, and families would watch together. And I think one of Ray Charles back up singers was none other than Nell Carter! Thanks for sharing that, Mike!

          I think that was from 1966, but yeah it's a lot of fun. Now I ask you, the let Adam slide down that pole, but Hubie Kerns had to always double him in a fake fight? Makes no sense to me.

            Often times actors want to do stunts but if they screw up and injure themselves it can stop production so I bet the producers insisted on doubling.

              ^Yeah, I know. Sixties TV shows drive me nuts with how actors will do pretty extensive fights in the close-ups (Shatner on Star Trek) but then in wide shots, which often seem tamer, it's some obvious stunt man. I never have been able to figure out the logic of those shots. Maybe the actor is off doing a more important dialog shot at the same time?

              Either way, this was a very cool production!
