    GoPro Cameras

    Anyone have one?
I'm thinking about buying one and I was just wondering if anyone had any reviews or critics about them.
They look pretty cool, a little pricey, but cool.

I have the newest version. They do work pretty slick for what they are intended. They have no viewfinder or display, so I rely on my iPad or iPhone for remote display. There is a second of delay, which can be annoying. What's really a pain is the wifi from the camera to the remote viewer is buggy and I have to reset it often. The batteries don't last too long either.

Hmmmmm, what would you say the average battery life is?

I'd think I'd get the normal version with the 5mp camera.
And I'd mainly use it with a suction cup for moving vehicle movies. (Big car guy lol)

How do you use it? And do you have any footage you'd be willing to link me to?

These two videos are the only footage I have online. Both are indoor footage so probably not a great reference for what you want to use it for. I could shoot some outdoor stuff this week if you want. Note that both of these were shot using a Sennheiser wireless mic and not with the built in audio of the camera.

Battery lasts about an hour, maybe a little more under normal use. You can get close to an hour and a half if you run a continuous video with pausing and changing settings

Seems to be good quality, do they have a slow motion feature?

And thanks you for being so responsive!

I am pretty sure they do have a slow mo, but google that just to make sure. I haven't used it if they do.
