What toys did you use to fill in for missing characters? For example I always used the Clash of The Titans Cheron as a Star Wars Emperor because I had it first. I'm positive others must have done this?

The old man from the greatest American hero was uncle Ben to my Spider-Man secret war figure. The police academy station doubled as dick Tracy's headquarters for my brother.
I could never get behind his mixing characters though. Captain Picard and genghis frog as tag team champs? Why???? -
For a long time as a kid I had a rubber Tyranosaur that was Godzilla till I got the Bendy one. He went on a lot of rampages thru Heritage Blocks buildings. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. I used everything as substitutes.
Painted Maskatron gold for C-3PO.
An Action Man in cowboy gear for Han Solo.
The Bionic Woman was Luke's girlfriend. He sure liked tall women.
Oscar Goldman had a soft spot for Jawas. Don't ask...
As said in another thread, Mego Cheron wore some cowboy threads from Fighting Furies and became "little Han Solo".
I mixed everything up, and my SW cantina had every action figure I owned at that time in the same room, no matter what scale they were....

When the Hasbro WWF line ended I was forced to use older figures as new talent. Brutus Beefcake doubled as Jerry Lawler, Mr. Perfect as Jeff Jarrett, Virgil as Savio Vega.

Curt hennig being turned into Jeff Jarrett has to be one of the seven deadly sins. Unthinkable!!!!Comment

Well, I never owned a Ken doll, so Big Jack and AJ often filled in. When my younger cousin and I played SMDM and BW, GIJoes were the villains. My cousins also had the Lone Ranger figures, LR, Tonto and Butch C.), but if we needed more villains, Marx Johnny West , (who kinda resembled John Wayne) was a good subsitute."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
