    Spring ahead ------>

    Don't you wish we could do away with the whole thing, with the way things are going at work these days I'm gonna miss that hours sleep!

    It messes everyone up big time. I saw a study that found sharp rise in auto accidents the Monday following Daylight Savings. You wouldn't think an hour would matter much, but it always makes the weekend feel shorter.

    Why can't we take the hour out of the middle of the business week? Everyone goes home an hour early on Wednesday for example?

        Actually I am going home an hour early in Wednesday, b/c I have a Rick Springfield concert to attend, (here in Oakland for a change!), and I'm leaving work early to get ready and get down there! YAY! And I like having more daylight! Besides, you wouldn't wanna lose sleep in the middle of a work week, would you? This way, you can just sleep in an extra hour on Sunday!

            Oh God no. I hate falling back. The extra hour of day light at night is what it's all about. Can't wait till the sun sets at 7:30pm. I always wished we can just keep the clocks on "spring ahead" time. Who care if it's dark at 7am. But when its night time at 5:00 in the fall, that really bakes my cookies.

              My wife and I were discussing this yesterday. It is such an archaic tradition and a real pain.
              It would be great if they put an end to it.

                  So, if you cut one foot off of the end of a blanket and sew it on the other side, you get a longer blanket?

                    Absolutely no reason that this ridiculous tradition to still exist. I inevitably forget to set a few of my clocks, particularly the one in my truck, leading to the yearly "Oh crap, I'm late for work!" moment.

                      I like the additional daylight at night, but we'll get there in due time. Just leave it alone already!

                        You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

                          It messes us up at work, the morning light time is very important to us and we loose it for a few weeks in the spring.

                            I just hate getting up and out in the pitch-black dark. It remedies itself in a few weeks, but I feel zombiefied for a week at least.

                              I remember loving daylight savings time when I was a kid. Could come home from school, and have about 4 hrs to play outside before it got dark. Now, I cant stand losing that hr, since im a middle aged adult now.
