      Ebay a joke

You have good and you have bad on Ebay.
To date I have been ripped off about $900 by ebay sellers, Almost all are their elite power sellers. I sooner buy from a newbee seller than one with over 4000 feedback. Heck, I had one powerseller give me the run around that the pre-order item was on back ordered until after the 90 day time limit to leave feedback end. After the 90 day feedback window ended, the seller told me basically to F off. I complained to ebay and they did nothing. Never pre-order anything in an auction again. Another, right after I paypal them the money for the wins, got their Paypal frozen and they couldn't touch their money. The seller admitted that they received notice of payment for the items. However, since they couldn't get their money, they refused to send me the items, I paid for unless I mail them a replacement payment. I had to file a claim with Paypal to get me money back, which I got. When the seller got their Paypal straighten out, they filed a no paying bidder against me , which got me non paying bidder strike and to many of those you're kicked off ebay.
I say it now and always will.
Ebay protects it Seller and screws it buyers.

I'm not trying to pick on you PC I just resent that statement.I do understand what you are meaning though. You should be leary of low scores but not turned off.I know when I buy things I prefer to buy from people with higher ratings and little to no negs.Go with your gut though if you have a bad feeling don't let them bid or do not buy from them.
I mean common sense if a seller has a thousand positive feed backs a 6 negs are the negs all from one customer, that is just peeved at the seller???Or are they six separate instances.
typically newbie members leave quicker feedback and screw up other things on ebay because they didn't take the time to learn the system by researching the site or reading the rules. they also have no clue about shipping or anything involved with that method.
On the same token , power sellers are almost as worse as newbies due to the volume they do. Most of them are set in there ways and won't change shipping and think they are always correct in every transaction.
you do have ot use your common sense , but newbies to that type of site need to research more and type less....

Protection always follows the money. Sellers pay the listing fees and commissions, buyers don't. They will not bite the hand that feeds them.

Most everyone here already knows how I feel about Evil Bay these days so I will leave it at that and spare you all of the tortured details.
