    Any Hockey fans out there?

The wife and I scored some killer Hockey tickets from our friends: Kings vs. Hurricanes. They were given the tickets through work, but are not Hockey fans, so they gave them to us. We got to see the players take to the ice from their locker room.

Our seats were in the very front row, right behind the opposing goalie for 2 of the 3 periods.

Caught the empty net goal which made it 3 – 1 Kings.

That’s my crazy wife wearing the white jersey. The handsome man on her left holding the martini is me.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

That's really awesome! Nothing in sports matches the in-person NHL hockey game experience, IMO. I've seen live NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL games, and there's no comparison. NFL games I actually find pretty boring in person; too much dead time between plays. NHL games are constant action, and the closer you are to the ice, the more involved you get. I've been a Penguins fan for over 35 years (they got pummeled in the snowy outdoors last night in Chicago!) and I've probably attended 15+ games over the years.
Megomark71 is a pretty big hockey fan, but doesn't seem to post much these days.

Hockey games are fun. I try to go to a Blue Jackets game every year even though they're usually not very good.

LUCKY! Great seats and to see them walk in from the locker room is even sweeter. Lets go Bruins!!!

I am a long time hockey fan but it is a sport better enjoyed in person than on tv (I feel the same about Nascar)
