    Thrift Hunters TV show

Has anyone else seen this show on SpikeTV? Two guys going around buying junk in thrift shops & antique malls then trying to resell it in Ebay.
They buy the stuff, things like old shirts & talking cookie jars then go home to "research" it ( check Ebay prices" then give a "projected" profit. I guess the idea of a smartphone hasn't occurred to them, since they check selling prices after buying ...What a terrible show.
I only saw one episode, the guy bought a box of iron on name tags for $50 and projects 2 grand in profits selling them on EBay to guys named Bert, Lowell, Newell, Nessie & Albin (actual names) Good luck with that.

I saw part of an episode as I was browsing to escape commercials from another program, and it was awful.

First, the guys are not entertaining at all. They're trying to be goofy and interesting for the camera, but it's just abysmal.
Not to mention the ridiculous prices they just 'guess' it's going to sell for.

Second, I really really really don't like them showing people how to use ebay, and invade our spots and buy our stuff. Some of us rely desperately on that as income, it's more than a little disturbing. Also, I feel really sorry for the people who rely on used shops to find nice stuff because they can't afford it new, only all that stuff is now being scavanged (or Goodwill sends it all of to the auction centers and just leaves way overpriced junk in the stores).

Ah well, it's not going to change for the better any time soon. :(

They kind of look like out of shape, over the hill versions of David Cross and Bob Odenkirk.

I watch it just to see them guess how big a profit they'll make on the items they purchase each week. I'm wondering if they have full-time jobs or this they're only income, but then again they make it seem so easy to make big money I guess it is they're full time job!
