    I need a Dream Vacation for 2015

For fun (or maybe for real, who knows ) I’m planning a dream vacation around the country and the world… and to plan my itinerary I’m reaching out to you friends, cyber friends and old friends I haven’t seen in forever. Where would you suggest I go in your neck of the woods? I want somewhere neat that I could only find where you are. Doesn’t have to be toy related but I would love for it to be fun and unique to where you are. PLUS you’d have to meet up with me and the family so make sure that you and your family would enjoy it too. And then after that where would we do breakfast / lunch or dinner?

Dang, pretty auspicious. Depending on when you would arrive in Portland area, I would show you my secret vintage toy picker areas but that wouldn't entertain the family. Your dream vacation should end in Wheeling i would suggest...

Well, I've been working like a dog, and also feel I need some dream vacation sometime next year.

Anyway, you gotta check Santiago de Chile. We have South America's best skiing places an hour and a half driving East, and the beach driving the same hour and a half but West. Now, if you drive fifteen hours North you can find the world's driest desert, and far South you can even reach the icy and cold Antarctica! You can find all possible weathers in this country.

Koh Tao Thailand.Well Ill be here next week for a month, really wanted to return here after 2 years, great place to relax, dive and just feel U are in paradise, the food is amazing, evenings either go for a nice massage (no happy ending ) with the waves crashing in the background or simply go to one of the bars which are all on the beach, and stand in the water with a beer in your hand. Temperature doesnt drop below 30c and the water is crystal blue . Oh and Mongoose I went to San Pedro Atacama desert in Chile last year, its one of the most amazing places I have ever experianced.

While this about a little over an hour from my location, it's the the only "unique" thing I can think of. http://yestercades.com/

You are most welcome to this side of the Pond, in Belgium.
We can show you around, you can visit our medieval city of Ghent, which has an 8th century castle, complete with all the medieval accessories!
Bruges is just around the corner (don't expect Colin Farrell to be there!), which is the most complete medieval town here in Belgium.
London and Paris are closeby, just a few hours of travel, you can use the Eurostar train and go underneath the Channel.
We have done "guided tours" for friends before, we'll take good care of you.

Oh, and I have about 20 fully loaded display cases of toys. If you're into that...

Puerto Rico is the shinning star of the caribbean... It is a piece of the USA but with beautiful beaches all around, great food and tropical weather (80+ degF & sunny all year long). Puerto Rico Comic Con is going to be May 25 & 26, FYI. It will be a pleasure to meet you & fam anytime and i'll be glad to show you my humble Mego collection...

Well, locally to me, there's Niagara Falls, you won't see something like that anywhere else. After that we could head to the House of Frankenstein and Castle Dracula among other attractions at the tourist trap known as Clifton Hill. And then have lunch at a restaurant that's shaped like a big flying saucer!

Or I could meet you near my wife's family's home near Tokyo, and then the possibilities are endless! Get ready for some delirious culture shock, and tons of toys..

I echo Ko Tau, Thailand. I was there this past summer. Also, South Africa is amazing. And I lived in Belize for a year and half and would recommend Placencia.
