I had to take our two dogs to the vet today.Joe the older one needed checked out for a persistent cough and Chewie the newest addition to the family needed to get some shots.
I put Chewie up on the table and the vet asked me to hold his head while she gave him the shot.Just as she removes the cap off the syringe and is moving it toward him,he jerks his head and the needle ends up in my hand.It was pretty funny actually, probably her first non canine Distemper shot.Nothing was injected i just got stuck with it.She was very apologetic and went and got a bandaid to put on my wound. The next go at it,we were both a little more careful, lol.
Dont let that innocent look fool you,he's a little devil and he has the right name because he chews on anything he can get his little razor teeth on.He's went through about 10 "chew" toys getting the squeakers out of them and then runs around with it in his mouth squeaking as he goes.Dont ever buy a "chew toy with yarn hair, very bad idea. You can see a very small portion of it in the picture. That stuff was everywhere.
His mother was a Chiweenie and they dont know what the father was.He weighed in at a whopping 10lbs today and the vet says he wont be getting any bigger.
He is a little devil but he won me over and everybody loves the little s**t.Joe has a new friend who loves chewing on his ears and wrestling around with him, even when he would rather be sleeping and i got a distemper shot today so everyone is Happy.lol.
