Toy Hunter - Big Jim Camper

Didn't know where else to post this - I've got 2 question about the Toy Hunter show last night and the Big Jim camper that was shown.

Question 1 - The box was pretty beat up and the camper was shown without any accessories, a figure was included but Jorden said that it was worth $150.00 - is that accurate or is that for the tv audience to make people think wow what do I have in my cellar. Also how much of that would be just the camper?

Question 2 - I have a nice condition complete with all accessories camper in a descent box, how much would that be worth? There are a couple of pictures of the camper in my gallery. http://megomuseum.com/mmgallery/show...imageuser=4600

I sold that camper van plus a way better box for like $40 with no accessories at a toy show before Xmas.

Yeah, I don't think that the standard Big Jim camper has ever been a big ticket item, in my experience.

Yeah I really like the show, but that's just it, it's a show. Don't pay much attention to the value part, but more to what cool toys are featured.

Wow! In the 90s at a local flea market, I bought a Big Jim Camper plus all the accessories except the boat, Big Jim missing a hand, but fully clothed, and Big Jim's tent w/ all the accessories all for (get this) $12!! Imagine what I could get for it now! (but I'm not selling it!)

The problem is this could cause prices to rise as everyone will think they have a gold mine. Great for sellers, bad for buyers!

There is no set prices on anything its all what someone is willing to pay and how bad they want it. Like everyone in this hobby sometimes you get a great deal sometimes you get bit on a deal Jordan is no acception.

I repurchased theBJ Baja beast Jeep i had as a kid about 6 months ago boxed for 50 bucks. The camper was far more common back in the day so i question that 150 dollar valuation.
