    On-Demand/Streaming binge watching

Anyone else do this? I watched seasons 1-3 of Bar Rescue on Amazon Prime On-Demand in about three days during Christmas time off....something like 60 episodes. Just finished season 1 of House of Cards on NetFlix last night. Watched 13 episodes in about four days (yeah, I was late to the party). Can't wait for season 2 on Feb 14 - all 13 episodes released at once...another binge party! Although most critics said HOC was more enjoyable spreading the episodes out like a weekly drama, I really enjoy watching full seasons at once. But then I'm let down because I want more.

Regarding Bar Rescue - anyone watch? My new favorite "reality show".

I have a friend who never watched the new BSG, he's recovering from surgery and binge-streaming all the seasons via Netflix. Certainly a better way to watch those, wasn't there like 18 months between seasons one time?

we missed a season of Bob's Burgers somehow so we are getting caught up on that. I blew thru BSG the same way, its a lot better watching it an episode or two a day.

My wife and I are up to Season 3 of Breaking Bad, so no one spoil it for us. Yes, binge watching is a lot of fun, and don't think the suits aren't taking notice of this trend. I think it will have a big impact on how content is provided and marketed.

My family switched to Fibe this year and between it's On Demand and Netflix, I still haven't memorized a single channel. I don't know where anything is any more and I really don't care...

Good for you, we got rid of that money pit several years back. Between Netflix, Blu-rays/DVDs, over the air TV in HD, and err, a certain "Bay", I have access to anything I could possibly want to watch (same with the kids). I'm totally addicted to binge watching on Netflix now, I'm currently just finishing up the five seasons of "Chuck". I can't believe I missed that show during it's original run, I love it (one episode even had Megos in it!).

We got rid of direct tv a couple of years ago. We binge watch as well but who cares just watch what you want and how you want. I find I don't really miss cable.

been cable free since August 13, 2004. Thanks Hurricane Charley!! I have a Roku device now and am only paying for Netflix and Hulu. When all the shows go on summer break I put Hulu on hold and get some other pay channel like WB archive.

I watched Breaking Bad this way, and I'm glad I did. I could not have waited a whole flipping year between the first half of Season 5 and the second half.

If you haven't binge-watched Orange is the New Black on Netflix do so and thank me later. Ditto House of Cards.

I still pay for Cable, I want to experience some shows in real time and enjoy waiting a week for a new episode. Binge watching really does alter your perception of some shows.

some shows need to be binge watched. I have been working my way through Breaking bad. LOST is one that needs to be watched this way/. I hear 24 is another, I have that on my list

See, I think the best part of Lost was waiting all week and listening to fan discussion and coming up with stupid theories and stuff. You binge watch Lost and you get to the disappointment so much faster than in real time. Although skipping over sleepy portions of season 2 and 3 is nice.
