I think either team against the 9ers would be an interesting matchup in the Super Bowl because of the Quaterbacks. Naturally I'm rooting for Wilson and the Seahawks though. I've been a huge Brady fan his whole career (got my Brady jersey on as I type this) but I think this is Mannings year. The Broncos should win. They're at home and they're a better team but with Brady nothing is certain. I'm just hoping for a close shootout type of game where both guys sling it out down to the final play. So many times these games don't live up to the hype and with Brady/Manning going against each other it's all that was talked about for the last seven days. If you just listened to sports radio, you would't even think there was another game afterwards.

As a side note, my 7 year old became a Bronco's fan this year. It's something he just totally picked up on his own. I think it's the Manning connection since we're Giants fans. He also won a costume contest this year and got to pick out something off the prize table and he choose a plush horse. He didnt know it at the time but it turned out to me the Bronco's mascot. Ever since then it's been all Broncos for him It's funny how fandom is born. Now he wants a #18 Jersey in the worst way and he's been rooting for the Broncos since October. I thought it was going to be a fad but he's stuck with it for the last couple of months. He usually doesn't get excited about a game other than the Devils but he's been excited about this one all week long. As a kid, I can remember the first time I paid attention to sports for real and I can see this is where it really starts for him so pretty cool even though were rooting for the opposite team for the first time ever. Normally I would be all about Brady right now but for my son's sake, I'm kind of hoping the Broncos pull it off.

My thinking is the Superbowl will be between the Patriots and Seahawks. All four teams are the very best in the league, but I think the Broncos and 49ers have the most weaknesses to exploit. Either way I think both games will be epic. Can't wait!!

Hmm. Interesting take. I'd argue the Pats and Hawks have more exposure right now. The Hawks offense sucks the past 5 weeks and the Niners are playing better than anyone the past 10 weeks. Yes, the Hawks have a great D but the Niners D is just one step behind and can really shut down Wilson and Lynch with their front 7. Harbaugh's going to make us beat them through the air, and we just can't. the Niners have three WR weapons (Crabtree, Boldin, and Davis) while the Hawks have zero downfield threats.

I've been up since 3:00 am because I can't sleep. I'm hopeful for a Hawks win but I see SF beating us.

As for the Pats, they're on borrowed time. Everything about them is makeshift right now - offense, defense, and ST.

          -Chris

I agree that the Niners seem to be a tad better all around team than the Seahawks...but with their crowd noise, the Hawks being a slight favorite...is well deserved. But not just being a fan, but I personally think the Niners are on a roll, and the Seahawks slightly digressing, I hope I'm right, lol.

I think the Pats have the slight disavantage, not because they are the visiting team, but they are missing their main core of both receivers and TE's. Manning is working with better receivers than Brady.

I can't predict final scores...but I have a feeling is going to be a Bronco vs Niners Super Bowl.

Where Seattle is much better than the Niners, is in the cornerback department, they are awfully fast and mean.

Niners have the edge in receivers.

On the line of scrimage, they are pretty even.

Quartebacks pretty even talent wise, but Kap is playing with more confidence, while Wilson has been struggling as of late.

                  The crowd, the crowd.

This friggin' game is so close, but gotta go with my team.

Seattle's crowd is the best in the NFL. this will be key for Seattle

The game will be close, but there is no way I can go against my team.

Having Talib out really changes the Patriots on defense. The Broncos will pick on that all day. It will be hard for the Patriots to do anything if those coverage issues don't change.

^^^ Yep. It's nearly impossible for the Patriots to come back if they can't resolve their secondary issues. It's pretty much over. The Broncos came to win.
