    This story comes to show real life most the times can be much more amazing than fantasy. Could not help to remember that classic episode from the Six Million Dollar man. When I was a kid and first saw it I remember thinking that it was such a great story.

    that's amazing. I would imagine the t6MDM episode was based on his story and the other man who had emerged from the jungle 2 years earlier

      Whoa - this thread gave me a crazy drive-in movie flashback!

      Anyone remember Disney's "The Last Flight of Noah's Ark"? There were two Japanese soldiers who didn't know the war was over in that too. For some reason that part of the plot stuck with me. The only other thing I remember is that they used a flipped upside down bomber as a boat to get off an island, and there were animals. I had to google the movie title.
