W VA. Chemical Spill - Mego Meet Concerns

This has affected much of W. Virginia and I think it bears watching as it may concern the Mego Meet gathering in June:

It hasn't affected "much of West Virginia"; this is a Charleston area problem, Wheeling is 150 miles to the north. Unless rivers start flowing up, I think Wheeling will be ok. Hysteria.

Drink Beer Wne and Soda and Bottled Water and shower on Friday before you get there lol.. All kidding aside I think Wheeling will not be affected, I'm sure more information will become available in the next few weeks, more than enough time to make a decision if there needs to be a backup plan.

Just found out that the plant that leaked into the river has not been inspected since 1991. What the hell is going on??!!?? That is complete negligence and a complete lack of concern for West Virginians that now can't even drink the water/wash their hands/or take a shower. Wow....just WOW.

Wow that's surprising since Narragansett bay is constantly checking on my company and we are always in compliance .

The initial affect might be cleaned up in a week...it's the long term affect that will be there for the next 20 years or so. Not something to be taken lightly.

Yep. It all drains down stream. It's suppose to hit Louisville by Friday so we will be without water. I have to get bottled water now so I can have my coffee!
