Sure. Wouldnt be Trek, but I could go that far for a man cave.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Probably not, but if I were this person, I'd recoup the spending charging admission for tours of her Trek home!

The only problem is have is I wouldn't be able to "live" in that house. A magazine left out or some stray laundry would drive me nuts. Plus, where do I put my stuff that's not trek? Just abandon it?

That has to be the best place to watch a Star Trek movie.

My tastes and attention span are too all over the place to live in a house built around one theme like that. Probably heaven for a hard core Trek nerd though.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

True. The price doesnt offend me at all (any one price kitchen cabinets lately? lol) But My interests are too varied to do the entire house in only one theme. That "batcave" featured on comic book men was really cool, plus you could incorporate other things into the theme

OH YEAH but I wouldn't have any modern furniture it would all have to be Treck Insprired, Heck I'd love just to have 1 room done up as the 4th Doctor Victorian Tardis Control room (the wood paneling one)

I saw this lady on the news the other night and her dad had done a lot of the work along with some of her friends, so I imagine that cut down the labor cost quite a bit. I personally love it, and could have one section of the house be like that but not the whole place. The pictures on that site are much better than the quick views they showed on the news.

I noticed there is no bidet in the bathroom...some futuristic blunder that turned out to be.

Sorry, if there's no bidet...that place is worthless to me, lol..

It looks cool though, but everyone I know would make fun of me, lol.

For a stand alone man cave, it's indeed very cool...but as the actual model of your main house, it's a bit strange.

That photographer boldly went where no man has gone before……her bedroom.

When I was a kid, I wanted my family room to look like the bridge of the Enterprise.

In fact, I still think it would be super cool.

Unfortunately, I don't think her room looks enough like the bridge... wrong shape. wrong chairs, etc. Which tells me I'd probably never be satisfied with any recreation in an actual real world house.

I wonder if her bank knows this is what all those 'home improvement loans' went for? That's certainly wild looking. I could see doing a themed collector room with all the bells and whistles. But when you facelift your entire home, that's getting ...odd. My personal belief is any hobby should have it's own sanctuary to offer relaxation (and separation) from the grinds of life. But when you become your hobby, well, to me that reaches a very unhealthy state of mind. This is more than a little over-the-top.
