I was confused by what you were saying!
I thought you meant you had to earn $5 ebay bucks in order to use ebay!
I snooped and see you have to earn at least $5 ebay bucks in order to redeem the bucks. If you earn less, you can't use it!
Well, I guess it could be worse, but it does kinda suck as I usually fall under that amount. poops.

I haven't gotten a new rules email in awhile, I wonder what else they're changing I don't know about.... -
I don't even know what ebay bucks are. This is the first I've heard of them at all.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

It's a program they have which is basically like rewards points with Credit Cards. You get back in ebay bucks a percentage of what you spend. They do it for every quarter. I think the most I ever got in a quarter was about $30 worth of Ebay Bucks. Helped offset some shipping on a Record Cleaning Machine I purchased on ebay. It can offset some shipping even if you get beyond the $5. It's been around for about a year or so. If you buy stuff on ebay it can be worth it. Something anyone here may want to look into."When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
