Will there be pie with dinner?

Going for something of a change, the wife is making Key Lime and a caramel apple this year . Usually its cherry and pumpkin, so this will be a real treat

I am first and foremost a cake enthusiast, but over the years, I am learning to appreciate a good slice of pie. Especially with coffee.

Change of plans, I'm having pie at Kevin's first. That sounds like a great pie!

Hmmm...not sure. My aunt will probably make a Cushaw pie (think Pumplin, but smoother), and probably a jam cake with caramel icing.

I was hoping for mincemeat, but Mom's doing some kind of topped cake instead.

My wife makes a wonderful chocolate pecan pie. I am not a big fruit filling pie person.
                  It's all good!

I actually got really tired of eating pie at Thanksgiving, (since it's only me here), so I will bake my traditional Christmas Eve brownies. I may make a Spice cake (cake mix), or some chocolate chip cookies (also a mix).

It's Christmas! In our family, first and foremost, we worship. After that, it is all about the food! Why limit ourselves to pie? This is day two of the baking and cooking frenzy. By the time I am done this afternoon, I will have made peanut butter balls, caramel corn, cream puffs, brownies, sugar cookies, banket, and custard pie.
