Just wanted to give a shoutout to everyone and wish them a great holiday season. I have made some damn fine friends here, and it's at this time every year I am humbled to be amongst such fine, like-minded people. It's important to recognize the good stuff we do and the good friends we have here more often. This time of year it's critical to show thanks for what we have and not dwell on what we have not. I truly love this hobby and I'll strive to continue to contribute in whatever way I can. Not gonna lie here, 2013 was a brutal year for my family and I'm kinda glad to see it coming to an end. As the new year approaches, it is my intention to improve the relationships I have and to make a bunch more friends, you can't have too many.
Getting my wife through another X-Mas is a tribute to resolve and positive thinking. Each of us has that power within us to alter and change our destiny. It's often difficult to find it or tap into it, but all of us have this unique gift. In John F Kennedy's inaugural speech he said,"We live in a unique time in human history. We hold, in our mortal hands, the power to end all human suffering...and the power to end all human life." The question is what do we do with our power? Big question. I'm going to use the power of positivity and keep the wife going, not letting her get down and get her to the Meet in June. I think she might be healthy enough to make the trip for the first time. That is a great goal to aspire to, and one I'm all-in for.
Bottom line, this board is the single greatest collection of action figure geeks and pop culture nerds on the planet and I'm very proud to be here. However you celebrate next Wednesday, have a great day with your family and cherish the moments.
