We're going to get my sister's dog the surgery but I'm curious about post-surgery; visiting him while he's recovering and feeding him when he gets to come home.

The vet will give you all the lowdown on food - canned food for a week or so then moving back to the normal diet
I had a Brittany who had it he lived another 4 years but I really missed his bark, post surgery he "coughed" air but no barks or yelps, be he seemed happy none the less
