I think Chris Hemsworth would be a good choice.
I was watching him on cable recently in that "Snow White" movie (of all things)... and his performance reminded me a lot of old school Harrison Ford.
Plus, he's proven he can carry a movie.Comment

From what I've read, Harrison Ford will still be Indy in the next movie. It's been rumored fast tracking a new Indy movie was part of the deal to get Ford back as Han for the next SW trilogy. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Not sure who I'd choose as a new Indy, but certainly not Shia LaBeef. At this point I'm not even sure I want to see Harrison Ford playing an aged Indy handing it over into the 1960s. To me Indiana Jones belongs in the 30s & 40s, so I would like to see him return to his prime and get somebody new. It works for James Bond, in fact the changeovers become a draw to keep the franchise alive.Comment

Maybe they could do it in flashbacks like in Last Crusade. I would rather they got someone like Hemsworth to, but its well known that Ford loves the Indy character more than he ever did Han Solo.Comment

When asked in the Graham Norton show, "would you play Indy again?", he replied "in a heartbeat!".
Question is: would the audience feel the same way?.
