WOW!I'm not even a huge Marvel fan, and I'm impressed by that! What the heck was that "no prize" thing? What did you get if it wasn't a prize?

Gotta love Mego!
What in the world is the Hulk gonna do with a VAN?! Who is he Mr. T?!
"Whul-uh, let's see - The Batman's got a van/crime lab with a net to catch the Joker... 'nd-uh, The Joker's got a van...how 'bout we give on to the Hulk, huh?"
Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. The Hulk just out, drivin' around, pickin up chicks, in his VAN! His conversion van, 'cuz it's the '70's!!
Insert tongue in cheek here!
I'm just jealous because the Hulk had a van to pick up chicks in and all I had was a beat up ol' white Nova! And everybody made a point of telling me what "Nova" meant in Spanish! Y'know, Nova means no go in Spanish.Shameless self-promotion -

Back in the day, if you called Marvel out on an error, continuity glitch, whatever AND were able to offer an explanation as to why such an error occured, you would be sent the coveted "No-Prize"...which was an empty envelope. Face front, true believers! Excelsior!Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Wow, great blog! Love the pics. I'm more of a DC man, but back in the 70s-80s, I had just about as much Marvel stuff.
Those Imperial Hulk and Thor puppets collected dust at a local drug store for 10 years. When the store was going out in the 80s I bought the last set. I kept them for a few years but traded them off later. It was kind of nice to see them on the pegs there every time I went in to get comics.
