What was the greatest trade you ever made?

I peaked at a young age. Back in the 5th grade, I traded my Hostess chocolate donut for Tracy Spilotro's HydroCopter. The kid must have been seriously jonesing for a damn donut that morning.

I acquired all the pieces less the cowl, for my Batgirl via trades. They were fair trades but the pieces i traded were extras that I paid little or nothing for. It took a while, but it was fun . . .

Back in the before time, in the long long ago.... Superboy TV series on VHS on something like 20 tapes, taped from TV (long before dvd box sets were a thing) for an Apex DVD player (the rare one that had the sneaky menu that allowed you to remove macrovision and change the region coding)

Wasn't me it was my son. At his second grade student open house I was approached by a parent. She asked me if I could stop my son from selling her son pinecones and rocks. Evidently he was spending his lunch money on shiny rocks and pinecones that my son would pick up on his way to school. Not wanting to show disrespect for our capitalistic retail economy, I proceeded to state that the issue was obviously not with my son but with hers, and his obvious lack of purchasing knowledge. This resulted in a few hours of non communication with my wife. Upon returning home I found out he had been supplementing his lunch time dessert purchases from his side business profits. We shared numerous high fives, outside the view of my wife of course. I looked into opening a chain of rock and pinecone kiosks, on playgrounds across the nation, but marketing tests and surveys showed the market had changed and the opportunity had been missed. I'm pretty sure the kid probably filled up on paste at craft time and felt his money could be better spent.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I traded about 25-30 carded Toy Biz X-Men figures for a mint Mego Carded Robin. When it arrived it turned out to be a Kresge carded Robin - something the owner failed to mention or didn't know. I still have it.
