    Black Friday Deals

Anyone find any good deals for Black Friday? Post 'em up here in this thread!

I just picked up this BBP Galactica 2 pack for $22 shipped! They have a few left.

Hmmm. Perhaps I should read more carefully!

I just sent him a question on it, so we'll see.

Still, post up any good deals you find!

I've been wanting an Xbox 360 (this is usually when I get into "new" consoles, 6-10 years later). I saw Wal-Mart has one for $99 going on sale today. I rushed over there only to be told they aren't putting them out at that price until 6:00PM tonight. They make no mention of that on their website.

I got a blue ray player last year at Walmart, my first and probably only experience with Black Friday shopping - it was nuts in the store.

I refuse to go out for these dumb sales. Sooner or later, you'll find a better deal online.

I really don't understand the waiting in line and such. Most of these deals show up online on Thursday morning after midnight. I stayed up late last night and bought everything I wanted in my pajamas.

Really haven't seen much toy-wise this year. Kind of disappointing, but there isn't a whole lot new that I'm interested in. Best deal I think was getting one of those Imaginext Superman Exoskeletons for $13.99 at Amazon. Or finding those Funko papercrafts at Ollies for $1.29.

I just got myself a Nintendo 3DSXL and need some games. Toys R Us has buy one, get one 40 percent off. However, Amazon's regular prices are still cheaper! I hope there are some cyber Monday deals ...

Update: it was indeed for one figure! :(

Talk about misleading. The bad news is the seller is too big and corporate to stop it from shipping to me. The good news is he says he will send return labels and credit me.

After I bought my 60" I noticed that the larger tv's seemed to be disappearing from stores. I was told that they just weren't selling and took up too much space in retail stores so they were order only. Who make's the 80" and what does it go for? I think if I were to get another set up I'd just go with the projection screen. My tv bulb has blown for the second time and I really don't want to spend $300 for another one.

Sharp makes 80" TVs, I wouldn't mind one, they look really nice. Hell, it's cheaper than what I paid for my 60" Sony SXRD nearly seven years ago. *sigh* Somehow, I'm still on my original bulb, but when it finally goes, I'm going to upgrade to 70" or 80".

I don't know if anyone on this board is a fan of garage punk music, but my label, Manglor Records, is having a 15% off sale from now through Sat.

I got the Emerson 50" at Walmart last year, for $288, and ended up putting 2 back. This year my kids had non-buyers remorse and each wanted one. Showed up 15 minutes before the store opened and got the 2 of them as well as the $98 32" Funai for a friend. I would have spent the extra for the Dynex or Insignia from Best Buy. I've had each of those for years and been very happy with them. Not reall familiar with the Funai. $98 isn't a lot but I hate having to remount a TV, more than anything. Only thing I missed was the laptop for $178. Wanted one to hold my daughter over until college time. She toasted her other earlier this year. Too cold to camp out to save $40 but I'll stay up late. I figure with the stuff I bought I saved about $500-$600 total. Ordered some stuff like GPS and memory cards online earlier this week. Best Buy Rewards members get early access to certain things. Got myself and my niece the Magellan 5" GPS. $65 reg, $149. Spent some time with my family and got some shopping done. I kinda like the pushing and shoving.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
