Was given an Iphone 4. Any good free app recommendations?

Was given my brother's Iphone4. I usually do not care about your cell phones, tablets or other stuff that everyone seems to NEED nowadays. However for taking pictures and video it works wonders (compared to my 1990's digital camera).

I can go online if I pick up a wifi signal. The phone is not activated for any company. In some sense I am just using it for the photo and video capabilities.

I do have a few photo apps on it now. I love the older retro or over done HDR look. Also curious about video. I prefer free apps but if something is really good I have no trouble in buying something from the itunes store

and if an app is really good in general and neither a video or photo program let me know anyway. I am aware these things can do a lot

Camera Awesome is useful. It's built by the SmugMug people, and is free.

For video, Super 8 is pretty cool. It came out for the Super 8 movie, but lets you do some neat Super 8 type videos.

The Bus: New York (MTA) app. It shows you where the bus you're waiting for is.

ha. Thanks for the recommendations. I could see spending way too much time with this. Wish some of these were made for the PC since they seem to do a better job than most PC software

It's not free (in fact it's $10 per month), but I couldn't live without the Deezer app. (maybe only available in Canada at the moment?)
It's a bit like itunes, but a monthly fee of ten bucks for unlimited music access. TONS of stuff of all varietys.
You can listen to an album at home using wi-fi, or sync it to your phone literally in seconds if you want to have it on the go. I think I have about 100 albums on my phone at the moment.
It's basically replaced my entire cd and lp collection.

Ahh, the hand-me-down I-Phone. When I was your age I had the I-Phone 2 and liked it!
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
