I have had this thing lying around for a while and began working on it about 3 months ago. Finally finished it off last night . . . couldn't resist popping some LED's into it.
I've never seen that kit before. It's awesome. The LED sets it off. Is that a switch in Hal's back? You're making me want to go buy some kits now. Been over twenty years since I've built anything outside of custom figures.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Too bad this character translated so badly onto the big screen. That Blackest Night series could have been big for DC. Model looks great LED's do make it awesome. Such a good character for stuff like print and toys but not movies I guess.
These new styrene kits that have been coming out look great!! The poses are dynamic and they're very reminiscent of the Aurora kits. There's a Wolverine one I saw that looks really nice as well.
I think they're sculpted digitally which may help with creating the split parts.
The robot looks like he's smiling. I guess he's into it.
thanks eveyone . . . these are always fun to do . . . just gotta make time to do em'. I have a vintage MPC Disney Haunted Mansion, "Play it again Sam" model that I want to do next. It has the snap action feature, loved those as a kid!
Oh and here is a full side shot of the GL, i realized I didn't include one before.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with that. Luv those Disney kits from way back when. As far as I know, they haven't been re-released.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
^^ I know, of all the kits from back then i wish they would do these and the Pirates. They sell for big money. I was lucky and got this one for less than a "Hunsky". Will proably look at putting LED's inside the organ that come on when the Mummy comes out.
