    Help! What are these? Hulk and X-Men "Color Guides" ?



    What are these? I have them at least 30 years and really am not sure what I have or their value? Can anyone help?? Pics are of the front and back....

    They are used in the printing process/production...or should I say they used to be used in the process/production. They are a little more generic than the color separations...but they are still cool. Color guide is what colorists use in coloring comics. It looks like the ones you have are for advertising. The X-Men looks like it might be from the Slurpee Cup (The color side of your guides) Same goes for the Black and white side of your Hulk guide. The Black and white side of the X-Men also looks to be images used for the slurpee cups. Again, these are something Marvel would have handed out to whoever was going to make the cups or posters or shirts with these images. Just for reference. Not super rare...but cool nonetheless. Give me a holler if you ever decide to part with them.
