    Final Countdown is a absolute gem of a movie...it took the implications of time travel seriously and I loved the fact that in the end they were quite prepared to forsake the consequences of changing the future to try and stop the attack happeneing...Gerry Davis ..co-creator of the cybermen was involved in the script...so no doubt all that time travelling with the Doctor helped out there.

    Yes I was thinking of Philly ex I love that movie.
    But yes I have seen final countdown as well and agree it is pretty awesome as well.You must forgive me my parents owned a couple of video stores when I was growing up so I have literally thousands of movies in my noggin at any given time.
    And the plot is vaguely similar in the sense that there are ships/navy personnel and time travel.
    Yes run out and buy the final countdown you will not be disappointed.

      Excellent film. Must have watched it 100 times on showtime
