My daughter got some for her birthday but hasn't done much with them. -
I thought my daughter was going to get into it, but this past saturday I gave her a choice, Loom Bands maker kit or My little Pony equestria girls doll...she dropped the looms like a hot potato........lolComment

My 10 year old daughter got a kit from her Aunt and went nuts over the thing. She was making stuff left right and center. Even going on YouTube for tutorials.
Then she ran out of bands and it took me a few days to get to the right store and buy her a refill pack.
The loom hasn't been touched since and the refill pack is unopened.

Mine was obsessed with getting these after her friends got some, and After finding out everyone sold out it became a CRISIS. Finally found some at Five Below, and lo, they were found to be pretty uninteresting. And thus they sit on her desk. Thankfully this one died out right away, I'm still finding those crappy shape rubber bands all over the place!Comment

I guess this is what they're calling the rubber band bracelets? Some girl in my sons class makes them. He brings them home almost daily. He wanted me to buy him a kit so he could make his own. I asked the guy in TRU where there were and they're located in the girls section in a bright pink box and it's like $20 for a bag of rubber bands and a plastic "loom". I put the kibosh on that right quick and once he saw the box he was a little embarrassed for wanting a girls toy in the first place. We got a new nerf football instead, (which for some reason now cost $15!?) The TRU is next to a 5 Below so we went in there just to look and they sell the exact same rubber bands with the plastic hooks in bags by the register for $2. I guess they're imitation refill kits or something but I bought him a bag of those and he was happy with that. I see tables at the flea market selling the already made bracelets for $1 each. I guess you gotta try to make your money back somehow after dropping a Jackson on a box-o-rubber bands.
BTW, I 'm finding these small rubber bands all over the freakin house now. In the couch seats, on the floor, in the dryer. They're everywhere and for the most part, he's lost interest in them in the two weeks since all this but I'm gonna be finding those rubber bands everywhere and anywhere till next summer."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment
