I never developed a taste for steak till I was in my late teens and then it had to be well done. Now that I've matured I much prefer a medium. I've read that most people who start out eating well done steak often gravitate towards a less cooked slab of beef as they get older. Guilty.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Living in Jersey, I grew up with Pork Roll (Taylor Ham)....I absolutely despised it.....now, I can't get enough of it (much to my waistlines chagrin..... )

Tomatoes - wouldn't eat them as a kid but one night when I was a teen decided I would try it on a burger as part of the classic trio of lettuce, tomato, and onion- and really enjoyed it and decided maybe tomatoes aren't so bad after all.
I have still not given up the fight against mushrooms- hated them as a kid and still do!
I've found I enjoy more vegetables than I used to, Squash, broccoli etc... I'm in the same steak category you guys mentioned, well done before, now medium mostly.
Somethings I didn't like then I don't think I ever will and those include Onions(in any form) and mushrooms.
Also I never cared for coffee and I guess I'm still not grown up enough to want it.
