Just got word that the guy responsible for so many of our great childhood memories has passed away. Goodbye Lou.

What a great, great man. He kept animation alive in the U.S. long after everyone else had sold out overseas.
Superman and Batman 66, Batman 77, Flash Gordon, Blackstar, Ghostbusters, Tarzan, Lone Ranger, He-Man...what a legacy.

Rest in peace Lou...we love you.

I love Filmation toons. He will be missed.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Oh man...I'm truly saddened by this. Another one of the Saturday morning greats gone. Since tomorrow is Saturday morning, I'm gonna have a Filmation marathon in tribute. Good-bye Lou....RIP.... Thanks for making my cartoon viewing so wonderful.

Thats sad! That Filmation of Lou & Norms name going around in a circle logo at the end of the cartoon always reminds me of Saturday morning eating Super Sugar Crisp or Crunch n Berries etc. Lou will be missed!!!

Another icon lost to the Heavens. Both he and Prescott left us plenty to remember them by. RIP Lou.
