Batman & Robin meet Scooby Doo

Right now on Cartoon Network, they are airing the Scooby Doo cartoon with Batman, Robin, Joker, and the Penguin. I do not remember this one, never seen it.

    I have it on VHS

My 3 year old daughter watches it alot!

It is terrible in so many ways.

Look for all the coloring mistakes from batman's chin shadow to robin's quick change color sleeves and reversable emblem and more.

I had the Batman and Robin on the New Scooby Doo Mystery Movie (the one that had all the guest stars), but I think it got taped over.

            I seemto remember a quote:

            Sound effect: Oooooohhhhhh! Ooooohhhhhh!!!

Robin: Gee Batman! That sounded like a spook!

Batman: That was no spook Robin, more likely the recording of some well trianed Thespian!"

That has the West show vibe all over it. Pretty nice for a Scooby cartoon.

I have the VHS AND the DVD. My son wen through a phase of watching this almost non-stop for a whole week.

You can tell HB slashed the Scobby budget from the original "Where Are You?" epsiodes. Must have been the extra money to pay the guest stars. The animation and muted color pallete are gone. No creepy, moody background paintings anymore. I do think it's neat how this toon bridges the gap between the Filmation and Super Friends toons. The Batman characters seem to follow the Filmation models pretty closely, except for the colors on Joker and Penuguin (and Batman's annoying under-chin shadow that was previously mentioned). And Olan Soule, Casey Kasem and Ted Knight reprised their Filmation roles for HB. Of course all would go on to voice on SF, with Knight as the narrator.

I have the Scooby Doo Meets Batman DVD. I love it!! I'm still waiting for the Scooby Doo Meets Dick Van Dyke and Scooby Doo Meets Sandy Duncan DVDs. There were a whole bunch of Scooby Doo Meets episodes. I've forgotten who the gang all met. Didn't they meet the Addams Family?

I was going to say the same thing I always felt HB "stole" the filmation models for batman and Robin. Casey had double duty in these shows as Robin and Shaggy (of course he was often supporting cast in the Filmation shows too). it's funny Except for the filmation 77 (where Burt Ward reprised his tv role of Robin while Casey was making superfriends) Casey Casem was the voice for Robin for almost 20 years filmation 68, Scooby doo and the various superfriends unitl it ended in 85
