    Toy Story of Terror

Anyone catch this? It was Toy Story, so of course it was great. Some nice nods to action figures in this one. One particular new voice was very appropriate, I thought!

It was typically cute, just like all the shorts.

My kids had been waiting all week for this. They counted down the minutes and loved the whole thing. It reminded me of being a kid myself and waiting for CBS to play a Charlie Brown special.

I think my favorite thing is that Buzz glows in the dark. Can't go wrong with glow in the dark toys
      It's all good!

I thought it was rather dull in places (This coming from one who watches more children's cartoons than adult dramas). And I've been sick of exploring toys meta psychosis since Toy Story 2. The iguana was cute but it seemed that the whole evil toy thief plot was built to shoehorn in an excuse for the iguana shtick.

The 12 and 3 3/4 inch Combat Carls were cool but why did he start every sentence with "Combat Carl?" Am I missing a reference here? It was just distracting.

It had funny, suspenseful, and beautiful moments but, overall, this one missed the mark.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. My grandson was especially enthralled. I like Carl Weathers getting recruited to be Combat Carl. Too cool! I think there's one more movie left in the tank. I think they need to be reunited with Andy as he gets older and becomes...well... one of us! A collector. The story could be the adventures of him collecting them back. My grandson says, "Woody!" all day long and carries that deluxe version that is a perfect replica. I love Toy Story.

It looks as though "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will not air until Halloween night.

It was fun. My favorite part was when the Pez dispenser puked.

Again?? Whose stupid idea was that? I guess if you don't own the movie, you miss out, huh? Unless of course, you wanna skip Trick or Treating?

It was great fun, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. I liked it very much.

I like it. I thought it was a lot of fun.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I set the DVR to record this. I thought 3 + weeks was too far away from Halloween to air. We're gonna watch it after we carve the pumpkin next week. I'm looking forward to it.

Also as an aside, my town ran a drive-in movie night last night at the Rec center with a big inflatable screen and put your radio on to a certain station to hear it and showed Beetle Juice. That was a lot of fun!

The Charlie Brow thing at night doesn't bother me either. The trick or treating stops by 7:00 anyway around here so it makes a nice Post Trick or Treating event and "We gotta finish up to get home in time to each Carlie Brown..." is a great way to wrap it up when the kids wanna go to "just one more house."
