    80's or 70's clothing

What was your favorite "cool" thing that you wore that nowadays you are thankfull that no pictures exist

Mine would be in the mid eighties I had a super-thin glitter silver tie that I used to wear with a collared shirt and a jeans jacket.

I'm actually surprised (and grateful) that there are no pictures to be found of this. I wore the tie a lot
    It's all good!

In the 70's I had a tan leisure suit made out of the same material as Mego Tarzan's longjohns (worn only to church, and forced upon my by my grandmother).

In the 80's I had a one of those red "bandana" handkerchiefs that I used to wear as a sweatband like Olivia Newton-John in the "Physical" video.

Trust me, I did not (nor did any other guy) look as good as she did with it on.

Hammer pants!! And anything neon. Or "cool" and "rad" language. When I was 10, I had a t-shirt with two dinosaurs(one pink and one purple) dancing. And the top said "Partius Rex." I wore my hair in a ponytail on the side of my head, and topped it off with a purple ballcap. There's pic somewhere. I wore legwarmers a couple times too.

There are only a couple of my old outfits that I remember and I have pictures (well-hidden) of both.

One is from the very early 1980's - a mint green leisure suit.
The other is from the later 1980's. It was a white shirt with all these crazy designs all over it. I remember liking it because I thought it looked like a video game.

Tight White 501 Jeans, Funky patterned Aviator Shirts, with a skinny leather tie and a Members Only jacket (or even worse, a knockoff), not to mention the Grey soft leather Fayva rubber soled shoes. Sadly I think I actually did as well with the ladies in hideous ensembles like that as any other style back in High School.

I much preferred the "Pothead Preppy" look of Construction Boots (or Chuckas), Cuffed Wranglers with holes in them, starched Collar Izod LaCoste Alligator shirts (my way of nonconforming), with my RUSH Jean Jacket with the 2112 Main in Star logo painted on the back. I'd probably still wear that look if I could get away with it.

"bermuda" shorts! a sid vicious t-shirt and a johhny rotten t-shirt (embarassing mainly because i'd alternate between the two for a whole year without washing them very much) a skateboarding t-shirt that said "skate or be stupid" when skateboarders still got beat up by jocks. um, there's more but I'm beginning to get red faced. But!! a mint green leisure suit? what were you thinking? lol

70's-t-shirts, bell bottom blue jeans, tennis shoes from Buster Brown,(these were my good ones)( cheap) Tennis shoes from K-Mart, to basically wear around and play in. Plaid, funky leisure suit for church and other festive events. I had lots of funky t-shirts, with KISS on them, Star Wars, etc. I wore alot with bell bottom jeans.

80's Early 80's. basically still 70's attire, until mayby 82, then the more 80's stuff came in. Mostly preppy, Izod's, Polo, or polo style shirts, and jeans. Mayby a long sleeve Polo and jeans. The mid 80's-I went thru the romantic/neo-western phase, with the ong sleeve shirts with sports jackets, with the bolo ties. (EWWWW). Then in the late 80's 88-89, I was in the glam metal scene. Tight ripped jeans, hightops and or snake skin cowboy boots, and long, teased up hair....Ha....
