In 85,.. I was like 10. I remember the 1st time I saw this logo.

& Then it took off, flew in Space , to a planet & Some Cat guy was swinging around a sword.

Saying " Thunder, Thunder Thunder... ThunderCats HOOOOOOO"

OOOhh, man was this the Coolest Intro I have ever scene !!! Man, was I excited for this toon. Made me wanna go buy a sword & learn some Kung-FU in a hurry.

          Even the Logo was cool.
I think this intro holds up today as well. Has to be the best intro ever IMO. I still think it's the Best ever.
... The Cartoon it's self stays in the 85 time period though.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

always trading for Hot Toys Figures .

Many of these shows had better openings than actual episodes.

Every version of the Super Friends has a superior opening. I used to love the Challenge opening, but honestly I've grown kind of tired of it. The first one I remember was the "All-New Super Friends Hour" opening, and I hadn't seen it for years until about a year or so ago I caught it on Boomerang. The SF's silhouettes against that rainbow backdrop as they fly out from the Hall of Justice. That pan shot of their heads and shoulders as the trumpets blare. The cool Alex Toth drawings of Batman and Robin...it gives me goose bumps now! The show rarely got that good (if ever), but the opening represented what the characters meant to me in my little mind.

GI Joe's opening still gets me going apparently. Every time we went in a store and I saw that 25th anniversary RAH figure set I had to push that button to hear the theme. My wife finally got sick of it and yanked it out of my hand and bought it for me, even though I don't collect GI Joe!

                  all anime, all the time.

Kimba, Speed Racer, Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers.

I realize these are the americanized titles and openings, but they still get me excited.

Johny Quest was definitely cool, but the driving bass of the first SuperFriends open always psyches me up to be disappointed with a super-powerless hour of cartoons.
