    My first Hot Toys

Hey guys, yesterday was a day to remember. After waiting half a month for the package to get here, I finally received my first Hot Toys figure! Let me start off by saying, their products are well worth the price! Absolutely amazing in every way. With this purchase, I got the figure without the box, but with EVERYTHING (spare hands with pins, two stands etc.). Who knows, maybe ill pick up the box one of these days.

Enough talking, here's some pictures of the one and only Superman, Christopher Reeve:

Thanks for looking. Now go buy one.
    -Sean

Very cool, I also picked this one up a few weeks ago, and I couldn't agree more... he is well worth the price.

I probably wouldn't bother with the box unless you are either really itching to have him be 100% complete, or if you were a big Superman collector. Then I could see it serving as a centerpiece to a display. But otherwise, it's a bit over sized. It's much larger than the average Hot Toys box, and since it will only sit upright with the corner folded out, it takes up a lot of room.

It will keep all the pieces in good shape if you are wanting to store him. But, what would be the point in that?

I couldn't agree with you more lol. It's a beautiful box but, I was surprised by the size of this when I got it so I couldn't imagine the box

The box is neat, but a HUGE space-eater. It stands out in your collection, but unless you have serious collection real estate, I'd stick with just the figure. Isn't he great?

          I also own him.

I don't like the box though, but the figure rocks.

Wish I had gotten him without the box, it would've been both cheaper and beneficial to me, lol.

I only own four Hot Toys figures...Superman, Private Vasquez from Aliens, and two art posable figures, one male, and one female..I use those for drawing guidance.

After seeing your Vasquez, and realizing how amazing Aliens was , if I do get another hot toys figure,it'll have to be either a Hudson or Hicks.

I really like the Aliens figures they came out with earlier, but I think I could resist unless the revisited them with the level of face sculpts they have now. Deep down I hope they do, but not too soon.

Right now I have 3 Hot Toys figures... This Superman, the Keaton Batman, and their Spider-Man. I've been averaging one a year, by trying to save up the entire time, but there are three coming out soon that I'd really like to get. The Adam West Batman & Robin, then their newer Robo-Cop.

That's a great one to start with definitely the best Superman figure ever in my opinion.

Their 66' stuff looks AMAZING. It's soo hard to resist

But I have decided on my next Hot Toys purchase. I'm going to get a Sweeney Todd. I loved the movie and the figure looks like he walked right off the screen. So if anyone has one ......

Congrats to you--the first Superman film is a favorite of mine, & the figure is impressive.

The HT figures are tempting, I really like Avenger's Captain America. But I'm still buying Megos...

They're really pricey but soooooo worth it. Right now I'm only spending 150-250, anything more and I instantly look away even though there are many id LOVE to have

That tends to be my price range as well... every now and then I'll take a long look at one that's 265, but usually don't have the money... and even when I do, I seem unable to pull the trigger.
