Seattle 23 Houston 20 In OT

First time in franchise history that the Seahawks are 4-0. Today was one of those heart attack games.

Their Super Bowl chances hinge on road record, period. Nobody is going to beat them at their place, it's just not happening. However they gotta take care of bidness on the road, and if they do lock up home field in the playoffs it's lights out. IF they falter away form home, it might be a struggle. Today was a great sign of things to come. Congrats to them.

I'm sitting here watching the Broncos and realizing how neat it would be to have a professional football team here locally. Watch the Bengals for a half and then follow that up with the Broncos for a half and it's not even the same sport. Actually, all sports in Cincinnati suck. None of them EVER live up to potential. I probably need to move...

I think Houston is being punished by the football gods for picking such a bad name for their team. The Texans? How long did they debate on that one? They could have been the Houston Vipers, Sabrewolves, Blood Dragons even the freakin Oilers. Houston was recently named the fattest city in America, so name them the Whoppers. They went with the most unimaginative and most conventional name possible.

I don't like the Texans ... Never Did or do.
I love Reid ..., and Wyatt .... But theres the End of my Love.
They Barley beat the Chargers...., and the Titans ... Got Manhandled by the Ravens ..., and Forgot how to play 2nd half Football against the Hawks. They have had "The" Team for yrs ...., and always ends short it seems.

I gotta say here ... Manning ... Big Frick'in Deal At this Point imo ...

Giants-Raiders-Eagles ..... These Teams are at the Bottom of the Barrel right now ... U could argue that the Ravens were someone ..., but I dunno about even that at this point in thier Game of the Season. This all makes me respect His Wins so much less ...., topped with is **** poor sportsmanship Qualities when he has lost the "Bigger" Games. I'm hoping Andy Ried and the Chief's Stick it up his Arse to be honest here.

The "Oilers" nickname was never available. Bud Adams owned the name and discontinued it from use once he move the oilers to TN. The "Texans" has been used many times for different TX franchises (pro and semi pro) including what is now the Chiefs (old Dallas Texans) Seems pretty logical the people of TX would vote to use the name.

I'd be inclined to agree with you if the freaking score wasn't posted in the thread title. Maybe something like "Seahawks vs Texans game" would have clearly made me stay away. Judgement BK. Thread starter showed no judgment.

                              The Sarasota Floridians

                              The Frankfort Kentuckians

Do those sound good? These are horrible names for a franchise and are lazy. I have nothing against Houston at all, just pointing out how bland their team name is. See, Baltimore did it right and went out of the box. By selecting the Ravens they paid homage to a hometown writer in Poe. I thought that was pure genius.

As far as posting scores in the thread title, that's questionable but not bad form. In this day and age of instant results through smart phones and everyone checking scores every five minutes to keep up with theit fantasy players, it's hard to keep scores and results in a bottle. It sucks the game was spoiled for you, but you can now watch the cool highlights and fast forward through commercials.
