No kids here, but I am always in homemade costumes. And for the record, there is nothing I hate more than seeing a store-bought costume win a prize in a contest.sigpic -

Going with the store bought Batman costume, but that's only after spending the last year in a variety of home-made Batman outfits. My kid's costume creativity knows NO bounds, but after making so many cardboard and paper outfits he's earned the right to wear a professionally made cowl.
Halloween is for amateurs, we've been in our new Batman costume for a month now.

2 years ago it was store bought Batman last year store bought Capt America. This year I'm Kit bashing an Aquaman... Green tights and Orange Long sleeve T from eastbay $29.99 you cant beat it with a stick lol, Trident and green superhero gloves from Party city and don't know if i'm going the blond wig rout or the yellow hair spray.
