Do you guys in the U.S have the same tradition as over here, that on the 29th of Feb,
a leap year that a lady can legally ask a man to marry them.

I actually didn't know until I heard on the radio this morning that today is St. Bridget's day or Sadie Hawkins day, the one day that women were allowed to propose to men back in medieval days.
I also have an aunt who was born February 29th and although she's now 80, she jokes around that she just turned 20 today."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
