The jaguar has the strongest bite amongst felines...yes...even more powerful bite than either the lion or tiger.

It's the only cat that primarily goes for the head, unlike the other cats who mostly often go for the throat.

It's also the most aquatic of all the cats.

He went straight to the back of the head and penetrated the brain...that cat knew exactly how to attack it.

Panther is no more than a black jaguar, and yes, it's the biggest cat in the Americas, bigger than a mountain lion.

I guess crocs are overrated, because here's a tigress taking on one as well...

Crocs/gators/caimans are awesome shallow water predators, but they seem to be limited on land.

I think any cat is way smarter than any croc or gator

They seem to be just eating machines - like sharks

                  Cats think

                    Exactly, Mike.

Cats know not to confront the croc head on, that would be suicidal...they think as you said...that's their trump card.

Have crocs killed lions and tigers?

Yes, there have been documented instances of that happening...but it always has been in the water...caught swimming deep in the river...that's the croc's ace right there.

                      Here's one recorded case..

But as I said, not on land.
