Oh, and regarding FELINA in the song and the parallels, I can see Gustavo as the man who also wants to court her. Not sure I agree that it's Hank in that equation. Jesse could work, too, but he doesn't physically die, but once we get to this level of metaphor and symbol, lots of theories can work.

I loved the opening scene with the icy snow that made me wonder if we were looking at a camera angle from underneath a tray of glass-grade meth.

Something I wondered about: Walt retrieved the ricin from his old house before going to see Skylar and finding out that the Aryans - sent by Lydia - had threatened Skylar & the kids. Walt - to my recollection - had never killed anyone that he didn't see as a threat. So did he plan to kill Lydia before he knew about her sending Todd & his crew for a visit at the White's?

I think his plan was to finish off anyone involved with his business because it was HIS. Remember Mike wanted to off her earlier in the season and kept saying what a pain she was but Walt overruled him. Walt knew exactly what kind of trouble she was and I think it was his plan to get rid of her all along, especially since she started working with the Aryans.

I also thought his reflection in the microwave when he went to see Skylar was intentiona in that way too. The man he pretended to be and the man he was and all.

The show creator wasn't sure who Walt was praying to. He followed it up by saying: "Walt has the devil's luck".

Seemed to me Walt was determined to kill the neo-nazis when he rolled into town anyway, for killing Hank and for stealing his money. He may have gotten the ricin before forming his full plan. Another explanation is that when he heard Charlie Rose mention the blue meth was back on the streets he suspected Lydia was involved and that's why he got it. Remember, he had planned on using the ricin to kill Lydia before that other time too, the same way, hearing Skyler mention Lydia might have just cemented his plan.

Maybe he was just ****ed off that he made all that masterfully crafted ricin and never got to kill anyone with it yet. Like it was on his bucket list.

Yeah, it would have been a shame to let that ricin go to waste after all his hard work.

Walt had to agree to the offer that Jack made out at To'hajiilee, but didn't really agree and Lydia has always been a wild card. That ricin had a recipient long before the end, and even long before Jack and Lydia!

I started a list of clips within the show that tell another intertwining plot.

Amazingyt watched the last season on dvd without seeing any spoilers...avoiding spoilers was almost as terrifying as watching the last episodes finally!

Anyone spend the last few days watching the Breaking Bad marathon on AMC that finally ended at 2am this morning?

Best several days of TV viewing I've had in a long time.

I never got a chance to catch up when the show first started, so my wife and I have been watching the marathon since day one. I have nine more episodes to watch that are on tevo but so far its been one of the best dramas I've seen in a long time.

Oh yeah!, powered through seasons 3-5 on AMCHD over the past 72 hours... what a ride!

I've seen the entire series twice, I'm a bit Breaking Tired of it now...need time to pass before I enjoy it again, lol.
