    Colorado Flood!

I don't know if news on this is getting across the country, but Boulder and surrounding areas have had devastating floods over the last two days! I've had minor damage, but I am very very lucky. Far more than many people living here who have lost possessions, homes and lives. A very good buddy of mine had a foot of water in his basement apartment! I was lucky to get my Mego figures to safety before the worst hit... Here is a shot of my friend's apartment...

    I'm glad your safe!

I used to live in Longmont which seems to be getting hit hard. My old house is in the mandatory evacuation zone. Crazy.

I just got off the phone with my cousin who lives in Boulder.....She said that the damage resembles parts of New Orleans, but luckily she is about 45 minutes outside the red zone!!! God bless to those that are in the thick of it.

My brother lives in Longmont and has been sending updates along with video clips. They're still OK, but basically on house lockdown for a while. Hope everyone is staying safe out there.

Wow. That is crazy! I'm so glad you're okay. The weather seems to make news every year for one reason or another. But that one really takes the prize. So bizarre to see that in Colorado too. I hope you remain safe and your friend has insurance to get his place all cleaned up properly. He'll need to get all of those walls cut out where they got soaked. You don't want mold growing in there. Take care of yourself.
