Rare day in Dixie. We got snow and ice overnight. No school, no work.

I've been on vacation this last week, and it was snowy or icy every other day. I had to wait for a halfway decent day to make a beer run to Bowling Green. I'll be glad when winter is over.

East Tennessee gets a fair amount. Mid Tennessee gets random hots of snow and ice. just a inch of snow shuts everything down.

Ironically, we have had a fairly tame winter this year in Maryland.

I heard this morning that Wisconsin broke a record for most snowfall in a year. We haven't had any kind of snowstorm with more than 2 or 3 inches of snow which is pretty unusual.

What we are experiencing here are days that it will warm up to 60 degrees and drop to the teens and back up to the 50's. It seems like everyone around here has been sick with the flu or some type of brochitis for most of the winter.
