What's top 10 favorite cartons from childhood?

I hated school as a kid, but I always anticipated the coming of September. It meant all the fun stuff was just around the corner. Football and Christmas catalogs, costumes and trick or treating, jackolanterns and scarecrows, packed toy departments and Thanksgiving, family and Christmas.

All of that, plus new cartoons every Saturday morning!

With that in mind, what are your 10 cartoons from childhood? Limit it ones that ran before you were a teen. It can be in order or not. My list is chronological, to the best of my memory.

    1) Popeye old theatrical shorts
    2) Spider-man 60s repeats
    3) Yogi's Gang
    4) Pebbles and Bam Bam
    5) Rocky and Bullwinkle
    6) Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner
    7) Super Friends
    8) Underdog reruns
    7) Fat Albert
    8) Tarzan
    9) Batman
    10) Johnny Quest reruns

Scooby Doo and Groovie Goolies would be an honorable mentions and I turned 13 when Spider-Man and his AMazing Friends started or it probably would have made the list.

Some of these I can still watch and enjoy; others I wonder how I ever sat through.

Wow. That's asking me to use my memory quite a bit here.

Battle of the Planets - I usually didn't grasp what was happening being so young, but great costume designs

Star Blazers - Probably my favorite all-time. What a cool, linear story with drama and space action. The Andromeda is my favorite spaceship ever created.

Robotech - Like SB, it had a linear story that continued throughout

Super Friends - Of course this makes the list.

THundarr - Great designs and cool, apocalyptic stories

Dungeons and Dragons - A lot of that directly influenced my own imagination and creativity later on in my own campaigns

GI JOe - I loved the diverse character base and expanded world they had. I didn't like that EVERY TIME a plane was shot down they escaped in a parachute. Freakin kill somebody already.

Godzilla - I have no idea why I liked this. None.

Herculoids - Strange mix of characters but it worked.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I'm surprised none of the Sid and Marty Croft shows have been mentioned.

HR Puff in Stuff, Lidsville, Bugalooes, Sigmond the Sea Monster, Land of the Lost.

Puff in stuff gave me nightmares as a small kid.

While not near the top of my list, Hong Kong Phuey, Jabber Jaws and Grape Ape were fun as well as the Laugh Olympics.

I remember the Harlem Globe Trotters, the Jackson 5 and themOsmonds had cartoons, too. I remember Superman guest starring on the Brady Bunch cartoon. Wonder Woman may have been on an episode, too.

Thundarr and Dungeons and Dragons were also good, but I think I was in my teens by that point, but I still watched them.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I thought about those, but the OP asked about cartoons...

Land of the Lost was a favorite and my kids like watching it too!

I liked the Flintstones, Jetsons, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Hong Kong Phooey, Tarzan, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, Pink Panther, Planet of the Apes, and Tom and Jerry. I also really liked Shazam and Isis! But those weren't cartoons...
Now my favorite modern cartoon is the Venture Bros!
