Journey is definitely one of the best bands from that era. I went through a little "hate" phase with them; but like most things on this board, they've only improved with age.

The wife and I saw the new band a few years ago (with the Steve Perry clone), and it was enjoyable. Obviously, it wasn't the same as seeing Steve, but it was still nice hearing their greatest hits live.

I think one of my all time favorite Journey songs is "Lights". Just a classic tune.
