I just listen to the original artist. Never did like Tommy Shaw though. Acts like an a.. hole and realiy is not that good. He has to remember he was a replacement.

It stinks that the Styx guys can't let bygones be bygones. Most of my favorite Styx songs are the ones with Shaw on lead, but Dennis had some great ones too. Gowan is no DDy, but like a Perry-less Journey I guess it's better than nothing at all.

The way I look at it, Pineda Journey is better than nothing at all. I'd pay lots of money to see Perry reunited with Schon and co. but unfortunately I don't think Steve can sing live anymore.

Edited to add that without SP in the song writing mix I'm really not interested in any new Journey material. Pineda karaoke is better than nothing.

I was never into them but I can't deny they grew on me around the mid 2000s.

Journeys Greatest Hits is one of the best compilation albums of all time in my opinion.

They kind of grew on me in the last decade but I didn't like them at all in the 70s/80s.

My older brother (by ten years, he is 56 now) was a spitting image of Steve Perry back in the 70's and early 80's, He made me hate the band and alot of bands from that time. I got into alt rock, punk rock and shoegaze, just to stay sane, LOL
