    Ebay Guideline Rant!

So I had a listing up offering buyers the chance to pick any 7 trades they wanted from an extensive list to fill in their collections as well as positive sales on my end. It seems you can’t offer people choices as it will confuse them, are you freakin serious?

Here is the quote…. "Completely different items in a single listing can confuse buyers about what is for sale, which often results in claims or negative feedback. Additionally, this is considered a way to avoid paying selling fees. These items should be in separate listings."

It’s obvious listing fees is all they care about, and I wonder how they picked up on this so fast? Is that loose change on the floor, I think someone dropped a dime.

Somebody must have reported it for one reason or another. I see auctions like this all the time and they are not pulled. Heck, even last year I did pick 5 DVD and CD auctions. I was thinking of doing this again. I will have to see if mine get shut down too. I still don't understand how that would be "a way to avoid paying selling fees". They would get about the same amount in fees this way as opposed to you selling 7 trades in a single auction. At least this way the buyer gets to pick instead of buying what they don't want. Typical feEBAY logic.

Selling and listing fees are the same since its a "Buy It Now" auction, some loser with no life reported me. But ebay said I am good since the fees are the same. Problem solved.

Sad thing is I think its someone from here.

Ugh. Always something on eBay messy.

Remember the auction forum is public to guest viewers too.

        Good to see you, AJ!!!!

Crazy, there's a seller that almost always has a listing for custom Mego heads and it always like a pick 1 of 5.

What's up bud?, Hope everything has been good. Yes, you were reported on that. But I would say, even 10 years ago that type of auction wasn't allowed on fleabay.
