Shame, too bad someone can't buy it and turn it into a floating TV Museum, like the Intrepid is a Museum here in New York.

I used to watch it with my grandparents every Saturday night. A lot of fond memories go along with that.

If I recall correctly, it was on after CHiPs (different network, of course).

Yep I have fond memories as well. Being at my grandparents house for the weekend and watching Love Boat and Fantasy Island back to back. My grandmother watched that show religiously. What I wouldn't give to have those days back.

Yea I mean you could make alot of money selling pieces of that ship on ebay!! I mean its a big ship so you could sell half to the public and half to the scrapyard!

Used to watch this and Fantasy Island on Saturday nights. So much going on I did not pick up on as a kid! Finally start ordering the DVd sets that are out there this year and have been enjoying reliving that time.

Wow, RIP Pacific Princess. I hope they save some pieces for the Museum of Television and Radio.

I'm surprised some crazed super fan didn't try buying it.

Surprised that the Smithsonian didn't make an offer to buy the old girl.
