egads, it's hard to keep it down to 5!

Cable Guy - I have a real, real fondness for this sad comedy (I even had a psychotic female best friend almost like him!)
            Spaceballs
            Shaun of the Dead
            Monty Python's Holy Grail
ugh, toss-up between Anchorman and Dodgeball.

That's my list for today, it could totally change tomorrow.

*edit* oh shoot! I forgot about 'What About Bob?' !!

Thanks for mentioning The Cable Guy, my favorite Jim Carrey movie along with Dumb and Dumber.

Yes! ----^ I love Dumb & Dumber too. I haven't seen it in a long time, I haven't needed to because it remains crystal clear in my memory.

When I worked at a video store in the 90's we had little to no supervision. We were just a bunch of kids running the store amok.

We had this huge centerpiece back in the store that had like 8 TV screens on each side, and we used to put Dumb & Dumber in and blast it. Then we'd get this inner snark when parents or older folk would get mollified and stomp out.
We used to play Tommy Boy and Ace Ventrua 2 alot too. Whenever Ace would come birthing out of the Rhino's butt, everybody would stare transfixed at the screens like they were hypnotized.

                  Viva' the 90s!

I liked "Cabin Boy" a lot too. If you haven't heard Chris Elliot's recent interviews on *** or The Best Show on WMFU then check those shows out! Also, have you seen Eagleheart yet? Incredible!

What's "Charmed"? I don't think I know it, and Google isn't helping me.

Totally. I know we've talked about this before, but it really is incredible how funny Murphy was for the 2 years or so he was at the top of his game. 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places, Delirious. On SNL it seemed that if a sketch was falling flat they just kept him at the wings and pushed him on stage when they wanted laughs. Unreal.
