ftp advice

So i noticed when I work on my site now that one of my image folders is gone.

The images still show up and if i type it in my browser, I can see the folder but I can't see it with my ftp program (CUTE)

I don't know why, anybody have an idea?

Wow, that's crazy. Did you try a refresh when logged in? Command R on a MAC, maybe ALT R on a PC. What ftp program do you use?

Check permissions. The webserver probably has full access to that directory but your ftp account might not.

Tried everything, can see it in cpanel but not on CuteFTP.

Have you tried using another FTP program and seeing what happens? I wonder if there's a setting somewhere in CuteFTP that needs to be clicked.

Post up your ftp server info and username and password and I'll check it for you

Seriously, try a different FTP client, or just go command line and connect to port 21 to that server and see what you get.

yeah i'm going to download a different ftp client (not a fan of Cute lite) and see what happens.

I like FileZilla if you aren't sure which one to use.
